V-TUNING have a lot of experience with Vauxhalls range of FWD gearboxes. These include the regular 5 speed GM boxes and also the GETRAG F23 and F28 boxes. Most of this work carried out though tends to be on the 6 speed F28 gearbox originally found in the Cavalier and Calibra Turbo cars. In standard form they run in conjunction with a viscous coupled transfer box to give the cars 4wd. With some modification though the gearbox can be converted to run in 2wd application. Quaife's ATB differential can also be supplied and fitted if required.

Conversions allow the fitment of the F28 gearbox into 2wd cars enabling the standard mounts to be retained and the speedo to read correctly. This conversion can also be carried out to incorporate Quaife’s ATB differential. All prices below include all parts and labour required for the conversion.
