Opel/Vauxhall have
developed and produced 2 different bodywork versions of the Corsa-B.
This cannot be recognised from the outside and it is under the bonnet
where this is
visible. As the engine and gearbox supports are different because of the
bodywork versions, it has an influence on
the choice of engine support kit that is required. M-Tech kits are
available for both bodywork versions and therefore it is very
important that you order the right engine support kit from us.
You can see the difference between both body versions in the photos
shown below.
Open your bonnet and look at the engine support on your right hand side.
(stand in front of
the car, nose pointing towards the engine, it's the support on your left
hand side.)
-
If the support shown in the left photo looks like this then you have got
bodywork version 1 (BV1).
-
If the support shown in the right photo looks like this then you have
got bodywork version 2 (BV2).

Body Type 2 (BT2) |
As a rule of thumb all Corsa-B GSi's and Corsa-B's with power steering
are bodywork version 2. (Don’t forget to order the power steering pump
support kit at a cost of £75)
