C20LET
Conversion Kit
For Astra
Mk4(Astra-G) and Zafira models with minimum of the X20XEV (136bhp ecotec)
engine as standard this kit allows fitment of the C20LET 2L 16v Turbo.
This engine is normally found in the Cavalier or Calibra Turbo models together
with the F28 6-speed gearbox. With this conversion all other models with
smaller engines (1600cc or 1800cc) must be fitted with 2.0L XEV
driveshafts. All engine and gearbox supports are made to high standards
so they will fit to the engine and ensure that its nice and straight in
the engine bay. M-Tech engine supports are made from high quality laser
cut steel and welded on both sides. Once completed the mounts are given
a powder coated finish.

The kit consists of:
- Engine mount right/front at timing belt side.
- New belt for fitting on the C20LET pulley.
- Hydraulic clutch bearing
- Hydraulic clutch bearing pipe plus mounting sleeve.
- Transmission support left / front (8mm in steel)
- Transmission support middle / back side (aluminium)
- Transmission support middle / front side with rubber absorber
block.
- 6-speed emblem for the gear shift lever.
- FWD conversion kit. (F28 is normally a 4WD unit)
- Nylon bushes for the gear change linkage.
- Illustrated Fitting guide.
- All fasteners required.

Engine Mount Timing Side
This mounting is needed for every
kind of conversion for the C20LET in an Astra-G or Zafira. If you
want to use the standard Astra-G / Zafira gearbox (F18 or F23) all
you need is just this support for the conversion. The existing F18
or F23 gearbox supports can be used. On the cam belt side you have
to use this special C20LET support. If you want to use the F28
gearbox they you will have to order the special F28 gearbox supports
for the Astra-G / Zafira. The support is delivered with the roller
so the standard cam belt can be used. It is designed to use the
original cam belt cover. This support can be used with the standard
rubber mounting block from the Astra-G / Zafira.
